Hello I'm an employee at a small auto company and I have signed a contract with the web designer company on behalf of the company and I was told by my employer the next day that I am not authorized to sign anything regarding the company so I immediately called the company to cancel the contract and was told I have to pay the full amount of the services they were going to provide for us which was R10 000.00. My question is that is it legal to pay the whole amount even though no services were provided to the company in order to cancel the contract and aren't they supposed to give us 72 hours before they could process anything??

Please help.
