Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Gauteng

I got a letter in the post about 3 weeks ago stating that the South Africa web.register needs to update my company details on their internet databse - they even use SA Govt logos on their correspondence. I read the first page, checked the supplied company details, singed the last page and returned the letter via the fax number they provided. Now I have recieved an invoice in the post from a German company for R 9 372.00 for registering my company details with web.register.I then went and rechecked the origional letter and to my surprise in the last paragraph there is an amount listed there as 9372 ZAR. I never even saw this when I signed. I cannot afford this. Is there a legal way that I can retract this?
