Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Gauteng

I recently bought a house but the conditions stated in the offer to purchase have not been met and it looks like the owner doesn't intend to meet them since the sale went through. What can I do?

Hi there and thank you for your question,

I am a practicing attorney based in South Africa. I see that you've asked a question but have not made any deposit for your question. I will try to assist you briefly with your question but please, if you would like more information, make a deposit and then we can continue the chat!

Normally the conditions are things that the purchaser needs to meet. e.g. sell his house, or get financing.

What conditions does the seller have to meet in your OTP?

Looking forward to assisting you further - if you would like.

Good luck and best regards,
