Lift maintenance, general maitenance of three storey flat building not done properly.Asbestos storage tank for hotwater pressure for all the flats not cleaned ever.Cold water pipes clogged.Building needs to be painted.Potholes in driveway.Now the rent to be increased by 8,9% from 1 April 2015.Occupants of building all pensioners, ranging from 67 to 97 years of age.
Lift only operational from 2nd floor and tennants on 3rd floor, all over 80 years of age have to use stairs to get to 2nd floor.Lift constantly out of order.
Asbestos tank poses health risk to tennants and should be replaced.
What can be done to get landowner to remedy the above?
