Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Western Cape
I am a tenant at a property for the past 5 years, my rent came in two weeks late due to change of my business contracts for which i notified my landlord and they threatened to evict me, i got a letter from their lawyers and made the payment as promised, My rent for this month is due and i have just received a letter this morning asking me to vacate tomorrow in addition i am asked to pay additional R2000 above the rent of R8000 for late payment..What rights do i have?
