Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Western Cape
Telkom has just given away my email address I have had with them for years. I no longer have access to my emails and I was told that this new person would now be getting my emails. This is a serious violation of my privacy and confidentiality. They can also not guarantee that all my emails have not been overwritten. Their response..... they cannot help me at this time. Hass my right to privacy and confidentiality (which they have in their contractual clause) been violated? If so, what can I do to take this further?
