Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Northern Cape
I have received a letter from the Municipality stating that if I don't pay almost R4000 before 11 August 2014 they are going to cut off my electricity put a switch on my water meter. Last month I have paid R500, the month before that around R2500 and before that a few thousand as well. Is there a way that I can arrange with them to split the cost because I cannot afford all the money money they are requesting and I cannot afford for my electricity to be switched off. I have asked since last week via email if they can assist but they are not answering.
