Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape
good day. i would like to know. my grandmother passed away 2 weeks ago and left a will at the lawyers stating that she bequeathed everything unto my mother ( her eldest daughter) and nothing to any of her other children. my mother took the will and went to report the death at the master of the high court where she got an authority letter. she verbally informed one of the brothers that their mother left a will and left everything unto her. they are now fighting and saying its a fake will and that the lawyer was suppose to call on all the children to read out the will. can they fight my mother on this matter and was it necessary for an attorney to read out the will to them
