In March this year i signed an offer to purchase a property and obtained a bond from the bank. The deal did not go through as the seller was unable to obtain approved plans for the house and an occupation certificate, she had built outside her boundary line and her kitchen extension covered the toilet which meant that there is no ventilation in the toilet. I was left with no other choice but to cancel the agreement, how can i buy an house illegally built.. The lawyers are tempting to charge me wastage costs which is like 75% of the transfer fee. Is there any way i can get out of this
