I need legal advise due to a PayPal matter. I was selling a trailer on my local sites, OLX, Gumtree and Junkmail. One person responded that was not in South Africa. The buyer and I agreed upon a price and  the buyer then requested me to open an PayPal account for the transaction to take place and then I received Spam emails of the transaction that was made. The buyer then send me another email that he/she paid the amount of $370.07 for the BED he/she is purchasing from me. $300.07  for the item and $70.00 for the agent fee. HE then requested me to pay the agent R1000.00 upfront for the collection of the item he bought and that I need to send proof of payment to the PayPal and only then PayPal will release the funds into my PayPal account. 

I was selling a Venter Trailer and not a bed.  At that stage I did not have any funds so therefore I spoke to the buyer and explained my situation and cancelled the deal. Now I'm receiving legal action notices from PayPal and Interpol. What am I to do regarding this matter?

You've been caught in the middle of a scam - plain and simple.

Tell "them" to get lost. I say "them", because the emails that you are receiving are definitely not coming from Paypal or Interpol.

Have a close look at the email addresses where the emails come from. I'm sure that they are fake addresses.
