Question posted in the Criminal Law category relating to Gauteng

I have a baby with someone who denied parental responsibility from the get go. I am the sole and primary care giver of the baby and I am content with that. I was issued with a summons for a case of crimen injuria, I am the defendant but I am unaware of the contents of the case and have been denied knowing. What do I need to do in order to defend myself and protect my child?
