Good day
My grandmother has been appointed to take over my late grandfather’s estate alongside her children. They do not have a title deed but they have a certificate of appointment. They want to transfer the property to the family business.
Can property be transferred using a letter of authority and a certificate of appointment? If not what are the steps that we need to take to make the transfer possible?

Hi there,
I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment, even if it is R150 or R200.
I would caution you from transferring property into the name of a family business because that would mean that the property is at risk if the business does badly or is liquidated.
You would need the letters of authority, and the title deed, in order to pass transfer. You need to speak to a conveyancing attorney who can assist you with the process.
