Question posted in the Divorce Law category relating to Western Cape

When married just over 3 years ago, we did not enter into a prenuptial agreement, but when my house (purchased before the marriage) was sold last year, and we were in the process of purchasing a house together, it came to my attention that my spouse might only be in this relationship for the financial gain. (She actually stated that I should add her into my trust, as she needed to have something to leave to her kids, when she died)
We are about to divorce, are we 50%-50% owners of the new house, even though I put down a deposit of +-R 1 100 000.00, paid all legal fees for the transfer, and spent approx. R 200 000.00 more on renovations and improvements, using money inherited prior to us being married? We took out a home loan of R 550 000.00, spouse has paid approx. R 80 000.00 on the home loan, and rental income from the property paid into the home loan approx. R 70 000.00-R 80 000.00
