Question posted in the Family Law category relating to Gauteng
Hello there
i have recently had a fight with my mom about school issues and I asked to be sent to a special needs school. I recently found out I have selective anxiety which restricts from interacting to certain people. My extreme case of anxiety is considered special needs but my mom doesn't consider that. She downplays on my abilities to make choices and to decider what is best for me, I fear she won't change from her actions since she's been like this for years. I am 16 years old and I wish to be emancipated and but I don't know the steps in how to do so. A special needs school is necessity for my overall health since I have suicidal thoughts and her ignoring my requests could lead to me dealing physically harm in the future if I don't get proper health in a school institution.
What are steps for a child to proceed emancipation?
