Good morning 

I work as a security officer for a government department for 14years now and until 2021 September..before then we were working shifts that include public holidays,  Sundays,night shifts and weekends.....but we were not paid for those and now tht we are asking the department says they don't owe use becouse they reimbursed us with days off tht we never agreed on and even our emplyedment contract does not state on us working shifts or getting paid if we do,,,,and the union says the matter is to old so we can not fight it as per prescription act
