Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng

To the reader:

I was approached by a property business man to go into business with him. I agreed and a CC was supposedly formed where of registration and VAT nr. is still awaiting upon.

Numerous amounts was paid over to him by me in order to obtain the business initiation and a 50/50% commission split was agreed to and was signed by both parties, no lawyers were involved.

I was promised to be paid, in writing, a commission of X amount on the 30th of March for a property sold in the month of March. It is the 8th of the month and no payment has yet been made. After numerous requests for the amount to be paid, various excuses were maid by the other party. Please kindly advise how to go about dealing with this individual!
