Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape

Due to covid I have not been able to pay school fees as I should, but i tried to pay up as far as i could due to working alone as my sons father got retrenched and I still have 2 other dependants. I then got a school not to far away from home to accept my son.But because I owe the other school a balance they withheld my sons report and they want to take legal action.I know i owe but no one asked to be retrenched or be held under lockdown...I understand teachers have families and depend on school fees but without a report or transfer card my child is stranded and i cant afford that school now
