We moved 2 months ago into a house renting a room and the 1 lady who also rent a room from the owner of the house is in charge but what was discussed and agreed on verbally is nothing the lady incharged are acting on. For the passed 4 years that this lady is renting/running the house for the owner the rent was never pushed up and now in 2 months time we got to pay the increased amount of R3450 when we agreed on R3000 for the room but she expects payment every month but we not allowed to obey by the verbal agreement as we told her we are waiteresses and work long shifts and come home late so after relaxing for half hour then we go bath noW it is like we not allowed to bath but yet she takes another women in with 2 kids when the room is advertised as single person and I don't see that that lady is paying more than expected for her 2 kids but we can't do anything and yet we not here most of the time-we are working. Then also she bailed out her bephew from jail being arrested for car theft and they found drugs on him and I told her if she wants him to live here then she must talk to each and everyone renting in the house but she didn't and now pretending that his not staying here when we know and see him by accident all the time aswe don't give him enough time to hide. What's my rights and what can I do? She has rent out the other rooms in house to more than 6 diffirent ppl in the 2 months we are staying here-she wants to be in charge but rule like she is living alone bt compromise is all u cAn do in this situation but now we are pasted the red level of being mad and URGentLy NEEDs HELP/ADVICE PleAse??
