Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Gauteng
I requested an upgrade on an existing number with Cell C and agreed telephonically to pay R200.00 per month for the new handsets and upgrade on this number, but instead of delivering what was agreed upon, Cell C delivered 3 new contracts to me for R79.00 each, totalling a value of R237.00, without upgrading the number that I asked them to do. What can I now do about it? They are taking R237.00 from my bank account now, which I never agreed to and did not sign for anything and not responding to my requests in righting like I am asking them to. I still have to buy airtime for the phone that I asked them to upgrade.
