To Whom it may concern

I have a Short Term Insurance policy with Anderson Insurance Underwriters. In June this year i was involved in a car accident and according to the insurance compay the car was a writeoff. It took them 2 months to approve my claim and at the end of Aug 2016 my claim got approved. They sent me the AOL form to sighn and it was then that i saw that they insured my car for the wrong value. They under insured my car by R100 000.00, they are not willing to amend the AOL. I signed the AOL but did put it in writing that Iam not fully satisfied about the offer that was made to me. They then informed me that payment would be done on the 22nd fo September. It was never done. It is now the 14th Of October and i still havent recieved 1 cent from the insurance. baring in mind i have been paying my car and insurance policy since the accident. The third party is now going to sue me for the damages to his car as AIU have not sorted his claim because they haven't paid me yet. I have lodged a complaint with the Cunsomer Protection in Mpumalanga to help me resolve this matter but I am being put under huge amount of pressure by the third part...I would like to know what should i do as AIU have told me that they can't tell me when I wil recieve payment.

Please I don't know what to do anymore. I have found out that there are other cases like mine againt AIU

Your advice and or assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Regards Herman Schutte
