Hi,My wife's grandmother passed away in 1997. Her estate was never reported at the Masters. She left behind a house. My wife and I are currently living in it. She left behind 6 children. Since then 5 of the 6 children died. The only living child then went to the Masters to report the death and only filled in her name on the next of kin particulars, so she basically lied. Three of the deceased children left behind grandchildren, my wife being one of the grandchildren. We went to the Masters office to look at the file and saw that she has already been issued a "letter of authority". We then wrote a letter to the estate consultant mentioning that the aunt was untruthful. They told us that they will sent her a letter and ask her to correct the forms. We will need to check back in 3 weeks but she was already given the letter of authority last year.Will she be able to transfer the property in her name and then sell it?
