Good Day
I opened a Construction Company for my uncle in 2006 where I was the Director aswell as the only member but shortly after that it was closed.
Then in 2010 without my knowledge my uncle went and did a construction project and apparently the job was not completed 100% to the clients satisfaction.
Now in May 2013 I received a Warrant of Execution where the Sherriff demanded to enter my property to mark all my goods to repay this client.
With this been said I would like to know what are the legal regulations when it comes to the Director being held responsible even when I had no involvement and the company was closed when this construction took place ?
Is there any legal way that my name can be cleared from this matter?
Thank You :)
