Good Day
My Name is Kerry . I was arressted Saterday for drinking and driving and took the breathalyser and It showed 0.55 and so I was over . But while they took me to there hospital and I did ask if I could go to my hospital or my own Medical Practioner they refused . But what My main concern is after they took my blood she made me lift my top and my Bra while the curtain was not even fully drawn closed while the two police men where still sitting there and just told me to 'shut up'. I know I was over the limit. I had 3 drinks but I was not drunk. I also slept in a cell that night, Im a woman of 27 who also payed bail money of R1000.00 the next day and later on called me back once I eventuall got out to come and collect my bail money saying they did a mistake.
I went through a traumitizing expierence also that Doctor hurt me quite badly whilst taking blood as my upper arm even my elsbow is black andthe inident with lifting my top and arresting me and making say in a cell?
Please give me advice here I underand I was over the limit but some of the things that happened to me I feel was out of line .I was very ill'ly treated.
