Please can you assist , we have been renting in a property for more than 3 years now however we have never signed a lease agreement as the landlord did not want to at the time. My husband is unemployed for the past couple so we have been late with payment or short paid however we always made arangements and advised accordingly . Last wednesday the property was broken into and all of our valueable belongs were taken and the door and window were damaged. phoned the landlord and he says my husband needs to go for a polygraph test (which i dont see the reason for that unless he suspects us doign it to ourself) and he had only come to the property the one day not sure if he even checked the damages to date nothing has been done on his side. is there anything we can do on our side
