Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Free State
i am very much interested in buying a peace of land that is sold by an individual. and this peace of land the owner needs cash which cost R130 000. i am in a position that i can afford this however what i am not sure of is this will be my first time so i am not really familiar whith what exactly i need to do and very affraid that what if i buy this and the buyer just disappear with my cash and i lose all. the advise i am seeking is what can i do to protect myself from buying this land cash and do not become a victim to losing all my money and the land out.
