Am I obliged to pay for private creche fees during lockdown? The contract makes no mention of cancellation policy or terms in the event of no service provided. The creche has provided no attempt on educational or creative support for kids during this time, so no benefit has been received.

Hi there,

I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.

This is a bit of a difficult question, but it is an important one. It really does depend on the wording of the contract. For example, if the contract says that you must pay XXX per term, then you need to pay it. Whether you are entitled to a reduction in fees because of the Government regulations requiring you to stay at home, depends.
