Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Good evening. My daughter and her children and boyfriend moved in with me 6 months ago under the understanding that they have to pay a monthly payment. But never paid anything. Im providing everything and still give me nothing. I would like to know the act for this as Newcastle police do not wamt to help me. They to laxy to do there job and always got excuses. Im getting threaten and abused at home even though i pay everything. They cant cant support or provide for their chileren and I do it. Bit still I get abised. Please help me with the act under witch I can force the police to do their job and lock him up. Thank you awaiting your reply.

The SAPS are not going to assist you because this is not a criminal matter ... it is a family (civil) dispute between you and your daughter/boyfriend in relation to paying rental.
