Question posted in the General Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
Hi. I’m. Now living in the uk but about 10 years ago I took out a life policy with Liberty life on a persons life. I have been paying the policy since. My question is if that person should pass away would I be able to get a death certificate and his ID as that is what Liberty would require. Unfortunately I am not on good terms with his family so would not be able to ask them. Kind Regards Gail Turnley

Hi there,
I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.
Yes, you would need to give Liberty proof that this person has died. Most probably a death certificate. There are ways to get hold of this, if the time arises.
