Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
Good day
My boyfriend was forcefully sent to rehab by his father 6 weeks ago. There wasn't a court order or anything. He's 34 years old.He wants to know if he legally still has to stay there or is he able to leave?
If he wants to leave what is the legal route he needs to follow in order to do so? He feels like he's being kept there against his will.
Thanking you in advance
Michelle
