Question posted in the General Law category relating to Western Cape
Good Day
I am launching a new brand of flavoured water and before I approve the label design I would like to get legal advice on label requirements in South Africa.
I would therefore require that a lawyer look at what information we are planning to put on the label and advise on the below:
1. Are we meeting all minimum requirements
2. Is there any information that we currently have on the label that is not required by law (I would like to keep the label as clean and neat as possible), and
3. Is there any wording on the label that we are not allowed to use
Please advise if you are able to help with this and cost accordingly.
(I am not sure which field of expertise this falls under therefore I have selected general)
Thanks,
Shalane
Message from the Attorney
Hi there,
I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.
I think that you'll need to contact a lawyer directly and ask them for their opinion on the matter. We can't assist you with a question of this detail on this website.
I can't refer you to a specific lawyer, but I can direct you to https://www.southafricanlawyer.co.za, where you can find a list of qualified lawyers in your area who will be able to assist you further!

Please remember this is a dialog if you have follow-up questions please make the required payment, then use the REPLY button and ask your further question. I would like to continue assisting you, but I need to concentrate on people who make payments for their questions.
