Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Western Cape
My family and i and some other people have been renting for bout 5 years. We never signed a lease with the owner but we were paying rent month to month. The owner has now sold the house without informing us bout his intentions and he has not given us any notice. Now the new owners are threatening to evict us and suggesting that the different families move into one room so they can move in. What can we do bout this? And can they do this?
