Question posted in the Intellectual Property Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
I make designer mirrors and i send pics of the items i want designed to a lady that laser cuts the design and creates the artwork.Recently she has posted pics of the actual design i paid for but claims she can post the design on her facebook page because she created the artwork. This now is basically undercutting my business because she is now advertising the design ideas i have given her on her social media claiming she owns the artwork for the designs which were my ideas in the first place.Does she have a legal right in this regard?
