Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
I recently gave my employer one months notice for my resignation. Two public holidays will take place during the notice period, Good Friday and Easter Monday. My final day of employment falls a few days short of the calendar month and hence my final salary will be calculated on a pro rata basis. Is my employer obliged to pay me for the above mentioned public holidays?
