Question posted in the National Credit Act Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
Someone took a loan out on my name or added a loan application as guarantee to take out a loan in my name and now I'm being harassed for something I didn't know about. Out of courtesy I paid R1150 and then R550 as requested from the "collector" but now the collector is coming back with stories that he needs more money or he is sending people after me and will collect at home or my workplace as well as sent me pictures of firearms and men with guns to show that they will come and collect. Mentioned that he will even come and take my TV while I'm watching.
I have no idea who this person is and he is threatening my life. What can be done about this?
