Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Gauteng

My Name is Clara,

i am renting with CSI Rental Company in Pretoria, i have been staying at the Unit 145 21Zambezi Estate since 2011 and since i have not defaulted with my Rental and if i happen to delay i do inform the CSI Company. This month my rental went up by R200, which i was made aware after i have paid my April Rental.

Yesterday i received an email stating that i have not paid my Rental, which was clarified, i requested my Lease Agreement and was told that i still have to settle the R200, which i did not have a proble with.

Today i receive a letter of DEMAND from TPN Collection and was threatened by Credit Bearue,.

i feel that they iahve been abused and Harassed since staying there.

i have since reported the lights which are not working since 2012, up until today they have not fixed the lights claiming that it is any issue of Globes, i made them aware since i started stayin there that there i electrical faults with the lighting system and still nothing has been done.
