Good day, my name is kamogelo and i wanted to know what my family and i can do.
My father passed away in april amd he left us a will that absa bank drafted for him. They gave him the copy of the original will.
We got in touch with the absa bank trust to report the death of my father and they told us they cannot find the original will. We took further steps to inquire with absa jabulani mall whee my father mdrafted his will and they also do not know about the original will.
We then saw that there are witnesses who signed the will and we go a hold of one of those poeple who singed the will as witnesses and he is working at absa.
We got in touch with him and he asked to be sent the copy of the will so that he can check on his files whether he has the will or not. He then asked to be given a week to look for it. We gave him a week and he never got back to us.
We have been trying to get a hold of him but with no success.
So we wanted to know what steps should we take as its been 3 months now and we have not been getting help from absa.
Please advise on this.
