Question posted in the Family Law category relating to Mpumalanga
Hi, please I really need help, my son and his dad were never married. We have had a family plan set up. My ex has a drinking problem has driven drunk with my son the contract says he is not allowed to drink while my son is by him but has not adhered to that, my son does not want to sleep over by his dad. We have been seeing psychiatrist and mediators for the past 3 years but no one believes what my son has told them, they are saying that I am manipulating my son and brainwashing him against his dad. His dad has said that he is sick of my son's nonsense and is going to write him off, sometimes he will pick my son up for the day but most of the time says he is not going to bother, he does not make any contact with my son telephonically either. He is emotionally abusive. I have been told that my son is going to be taken away from me because I'm the cause of my son not wanting to sleep over. I just dont know what to do anymore everyone is taking my exs word over mine and my son's. He is suffering emotionally because it's been going on for 3 years. Please help us.
