Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Free State
In June I put in a offer to buy a property which was accepted and bond was granted. The transferring attorney insisted that I pay the transfer fees uprfont befor he works on the file, which I did. I also signed and paid the bond attorneys. Now the seller is delaying the property registration as he has not paid rates clearance and electrical COS. The bond registration is also delayed by electrical COC. The transferring attorney indicated that the seller doesn't have money to pay rates clearance, the estate agent indicated that they should get bridging finance which has not been done. We ar stuck
