Hi
I have my house listed on private property. A couple viewed my house twice through private property within the second week it was listed. I never heard back from them.
Last week i was approached by Leapfrog properties to market my house for me which i agreed to - i didnt sign a sole manadet or anything, it was a simple reply to an e mail stating they can market my property and i could continue to market mine on private property. Today they brought this same couple back. This couple was under the impression that I had taken my house of private property. Tey are now wanting to make an offer, but since point of contact was initially directly with me through private property, they do not want to make use of the Leapfrog agent. The leapfrog agent says that the couple had told him they had previously viewed the property, and he told them that they now could view it through him.
The Leapfrog agent also said to me now that I never excluded this couple from my arrangement with them....
Who is in the right? Can they deal directly with me when making an offer or do they have to work through this agent?
