Question posted in the Family Law category relating to Gauteng

I separated from my husband in March of this year due to emotional and psychological abuse and the effect it was having on my two sons, aged 13 and 11. He has completely cut me off from financial support and says that he will not pay any maintenance unless I agree to his terms and amount. I would but the amount is far too little to look after us and the terms state that I may never reapply for an increase. Due to his mental illness, all debts are on my name and he has all the items for the debt incurred. He works for the family business of which he is a shareholder. According to his salary he does not earn very much but the company pays for everything. I have tried asking his mother and father and sister for support but they say I should be grateful for what he is offering. I have had 2 lawyers since March and have yet to see a court date. What is the quickest way to get financial support?
