Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
Before getting into a relationship or any arrangement, can a party in the relationship have a contract with their partner with conditions along the lines of:
1. If we have a child and we separated, can this amount be agreed on for child maintenance.
2. If any party is unfaithful, they cannot be entitled to any assets in the event of divorce.
3. If we separate, the party not contributing to rent or bond repayment must move out upon request.
...and so forth.
Are such clauses legally allowed?
