Question posted in the Criminal Law category relating to Western Cape

I was arrested for shoplifting (amount was R600) and I appeared in court, the prosecutor asked for a postponement for 4 weeks and said I can be released on warning and he said something about missing witness statements and  possible diversion, the magistrate released me on warning and said i should appear in the same court again on 25 June, what should I expect at the next appearance
