Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
Hi
I wanted to find out if you can sue a Private higher education institution for refusing to refund a student who studied 4 years and paid them over R190 000, I told them they can keep the degree but that I can\'t find a job in that career space and so it rendered the degree worthless completely, but their websites states no refunds, and I don\'t understand how this is allowed, when most universities offer full or even 50% refunds for degrees, would it be possible to win a case against them and get a refund if their website states that they don\'t give refunds and if they're a private institution? If it is possible I would request an attorney from LHL attorneys to assist in this case.Thank you and have a wonderful day

on this pdf it states that universities are not allowed to refuse refunds but since they are a private instiution I'm not sure if it applies
