I bought my car in September of 2023.

It is a VW polo TSI 2022 1.0

I took my car for a service (60 000) today as well as asked the garage to have a look at a few fauls i have on the car as it is under a full maintenance plan and that the maintenance plan will cove the costs of what needs to be fixed. (This is at a diffrent dealership as where I bought my car as I moved provinces)

My car was serviced for the 45 000km service at the dealership where I bought the car in November 2023. Where I had also asked the services department to have a look at a fault on my car, one of the same faults that I requested to have a look at once again at todays service.

Later the afternoon just as I was about to go and fetch the car the service adviser of the garage phones me to tell me that the faults that I asked them to look at still needs to be fixed and will not be covered by the maintenance plan as the car was in an accident and does not have original parts in. I then told the person that I did not know the car was in an accident.

I did ask the sales person if the car was in an accident and the person said no. My father did as well.

I got in contact with the sales person and branch manager from where I bought my car to tell them this as I specifically also asked that the maintenance plan is extended when I bought the car.( second hand) and now the maintenance plan does not cover any of the faults that needs to be fixed due to the car being  in an accident that i was not aware of.

The branch manager of where i bought the car sent me a picture of site where the vin number was checked stating that there was no claim put in for the car to be fixed.

The branch manager has asked me to take the car to another workshop garage. For another workshop manager to have a look at the car.

I am awaiting the workshop where my car was serviced today to send me a full report on their findings and why they say that the car was in an accident.

So my question is what are my options.
