Goodday
I am renting out a property, the tennants in the house has a one year lease, but since their second month of occupation they fail to pay the municipal account in full or not at all, the property is not paid in full we still pay a bond. The tennant's issue is that the electricity reading is not correct. I did call an electrician today to check what's wrong, but the tennant still refuse to pay the munical account.
This has come to a point where we can no longer afford the property, therefore we gave the tennant last week a letter indicating that we will not renew their lease agreement after 31 July 2015 when it expires, now the tennant threatens my husband with taking it further as he see it as an eviction.
What would be best for us to do, as we do have a written agreement with them.
