Good day
I used a company to move my furniture from Cape Town to Johannesburg. After several delays they finally delivered my belongings.
Some of the boxes were damaged, some furniture have scratches and paintings that were bubble wrapped arrived with no cover and damage to the frames or painting itself.
I checked with the company that they had insurance. I collected quotes for the repairs and replacements and submitted this to the owner.
The owner can not seem to provide me with proof of a claim submitted or with any information on how and when I will be compensated for the damage and losses.
What should be my next step to resolve this issue?
