Question posted in the General Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
I was a shareholder and Director of a Consulting company and had 1 partner. I resigned earlier this year and joined another company. My former partner is monitoring my emails, replying to former customers from it and opening personal documents of mine utilising my ID number and bank account details which he had access to from the backup-server we had in place.
My bank has been slow in changing all my details and seems that they did not change everything as per my request and hance why some emails were still going to my old work email address.
Do i have any recourse in legal action (POPI act) and how can i stop this former partner of mine intercepting any emails routed to my former old work email address and using this info against me?
Thank you.
