Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal

Hi, I recently paid a holding down deposit on a car that was advertised at a dealership and we negotiated and settled at a lower price that the vehicle was advertised at.

I have pictures of the advertised price and communication at the agreed price and proof of the holding down deposit being made as requested by the dealership.

The dealership as now in turn said that the price of the car was incorrectly advertised and they want to now return my deposit.

Is this a fair thing to do and do I have any legal ground to still get that car?
