Question posted in the National Credit Act Law category relating to Western Cape
Good day,
I hope you can help me or give me advice on my situation that I have with my credit account that is handed over to DMC management. They have contact me regarding of an account that was handed over too them of 10k. After the covid pandamic I was retrenched at my previous job and couldn't pay my "Markhams" account with a balance of 3-4k around 2020. And now my account is handed over to DMC with a balance of 10k that they demand me to pay. Dmc cant give me a statement on how this account come to 10k and it was close in November 2023 and reopen the same month November 2023. i also contacted Markhams for a statement to show Hou this account grow. Can you please give me any advice regarding my situation that Im in cause they are treatning me to take me to court. Can they do this?
