We are hiring out a garden cottage. There is no written lease.
The previous tenant had a written lease, it expired without formal renewal, and we went onto a monthly basis. Then when she (the previous tenant) left she found someone else, who is now the tenant.
We now want to take back the cottage to use as an office. We plan to give the current tenant three months' notice. Is this legal and the right way to go about it?
